Quit Smoking
Quitting smoking can be very difficult for some people and if they fail to break the habit they are left with feelings of guilt and disappointment.. If you are reading this you have probably tried all sorts of methods already, possibly nicotine replacement products such as patches, gum or e-cigarettes or maybe you have had a prescription from your G.P. for champix or zyban.
Whether it is to improve your health, give you more money to spend on other things, to please your partner or simply to get rid of the nasty smell on your clothes, if you really want to stop, you can improve your chances of quitting with Hypnotherapy (Ref 1).
The Programme, which I have been trained under and hold a licence to deliver, combines techniques in Clinical Hypnotherapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Neuro Linguistic Programming to provide an effective method to assist people who are wanting to quit smoking.
If you really want to quit smoking the statistics show that Hypnotherapy is by far the most effective way to get help! The New Scientist Magazine published findings in 1992 on the effectiveness of different methods (Ref 1). This is based on an extensive clinical study on the most effective methods of quitting smoking. The results combined more than 600 studies (over 72,000 individual cases) and showed that Hypnotherapy increased a smokers success chances from 6% to 60%
Willpower alone=6% success rate
Nicotine Replacement Therapy=10% success rate
Acupuncture=24% success rate
Single session of hypnosis=60% success rate

Hypnotherapy has been approved for use by the UK Government and, selectively, by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE). CBT is also an independently researched and proven therapy, similarly approved by NICE.
The Quit Smoking Hypnotherapy session will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Every client's needs and circumstances are different and I will address your particular needs and work out how best to help you. Of course the effectiveness depends on your individual circumstances. During the hypnotherapy time you will be invited to make yourself comfortable and will be guided into a deeper state where you are more open to positive suggestion and where effective changes to your thoughts, feelings and behaviours can be made by you. Before the end of the session you will be taught how to take yourself into hypnosis as well as how to deal with any cravings. For many people one session is all that is needed, some may require a refresher session 2 to 3 weeks later. The cost of the Quit 4 Life Programme is £130.
My Quit Smoking Programme includes:
-
A free, no obligation chat on the phone or in person to see if hypnotherapy might be the right option for you
-
An up to two hour face to face hypnotherapy session where you will get help to quit smoking for good
-
A free hypnotic stop smoking recording for you to listen to at home to further reinforce your decision to quit smoking
-
A one hour top up session at reduced rate of £45 (if needed) which is valid for 30 days after your treatment session.
Using Hypnotherapy to become a non-smoker is safe and non-toxic with no chemical side effects unlike drugs, patches and gum which do have side effects as listed in their own leaflets! The cost of a hypnotherapy session for stopping smoking is minimal compared to the financial and health costs incurred during a lifetime of smoking.
